You have little experience on a bike, and have trouble keeping balanced while breaking, and turning.

You have limited experience on a bike. You can maintain balance while breaking, and turning on paved surfaces, but have little or no experience riding off-road terrain.

Freeride

3

You have limited experience riding off-road terrain. You are capable of controlling bike speed and direction on gentle single track trails and slightly uneven, and bumpy surfaces.

Freeride, Instructor

You are an experienced mountain biker. You are capable of controlling bike speed and direction on moderately steep and technical single track trails.

Freeride, Instructor.

You are a strong and confident rider who is comfortable on steep, technical terrain, moderate drops, and jumps.

You are a downhill or freeride mountain biker who is confident riding all types of terrain including large jumps, drops, and North Shore Style Bridges.

You are an experienced downhill or freerider who is comfortable riding jumps, and drops with moderate, to larger sized gaps.
